old-style New Orleans Jazz, and it comes off quite well,
thanks to musicians who just get out and do their thing
without pretentions or over-production and/or
unnecessary gimmicks. The Preservation Hall band has
been a fixture in New Orleans for well over a
generation, and despite many changes in personnel over
the years, the musicians obviously love what they’re
doing and have a good time—as do Del and his boys Ronnie
and Rob.
